The Adventures of Paupackan Jack

series

Legend has it that there was once a creature called a jackdaw. They lived underwater in lakes though they could also walk on land for a short time. They looked humanish, with a head, arms, and legs. They walked upright. But they were greenish and slimy, and much bigger than us, like 8-9 feet tall.

The stories in this series are about the adventures of a jackdaw named Paupackan Jack. He lived hundreds of years ago in Paupackan Lake in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. Paupackan Jack had many animal friends and went on lots of adventures. He lived in the Lake but loved to walk in the forest around the Lake. His adventures begin there!

Are there jackdaws around today? Probably not. But we hear about sightings of creatures that are like jackdaws. They go by names such as bigfoot, sasquatch, yeti, and almas. So, the answer could be, maybe yes. If you are lucky someday you may see a jackdaw if you go into a wild area.
